Rudiments are to drums what a foundation is to a home. Having a solid and wide foundation allows you to have a deep vocabulary of drum resources to pull from when expressing your unique voice on your instrument.

We will work through the individual rudiments and then piece them together for a cool exercise that will help develop continuity between the three rudiments. They can then be applied to your drum kit playing..

Let's work through the following exercises on your practice pad. If your room mates don't mind the noise feel free to work through them on your drums. As always don't forget to protect your ears as you play.
